You know its a good book when you find little facets of yourself in it. Shail has once again, made me fall in love with Shiva - all over again. Would be awesome if this was in a mini series version (so I have a reason to keep reading). Thoroughly enjoyed this book ~

I have thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. Shiva easily travelled the space and time between his divine and human form. I could float away on the Holy mountains of Kailash as I read the book. The sacred love between Shiva and Sati was palpable. It is a must read! I can’t wait to read the second book by Shail Gulhati.
Shail Gulhati has written a piece on Shiva that is a true boon for the modern-day seeker-practitoner, Shiva bhaktin, or anyone who wishes for a better understanding of the truths and lessons interwoven within the legends and mythology of Shiva. This text also manages quite eloquently to deliver succinct and digestible renderings of Advaita and Tantric Shaiva philosophy that is all too often complicated and paradoxical and thus rendering it largely unavailable to those who would otherwise benefit from these teachings.
This text is for both the lover of Shiva and anyone looking to familiarize themselves with India's (arguably) most iconical figure. 5 Stars.

This book is an easy read. What I like most is that it does not use heavy handed theology or secretariat principles of religion or sects in Hinduism.
It reads like a metaphor akin to Carlos Castaneda and Paulo Coelho. You can substitute Shiva and Sati with Peter and Pauline and still draw the message you want. Free will...
