Do you have un-saved loved ones? This book is very spirit filled and really speaks to the heart. If you purchase the book, read it for yourself before giving to someone you have been trying to talk to about the Lord. This book "Steps to Christ" is a real blessing to read. I'm not saying this book will save all people, but there are some people who have turned to Christ after reading this book. This book is a larger version. There are smaller versions of this book with the picture of Christ on the front. I also have some of those that I bought to give out to people.
This wonderful book is usually given to those who are trying to find Jesus, but they are not the ONLY ones who should read it. If a christian of any length of time becomes separated from Jesus and therefore feels discouraged, and feel the need, and WANT to get "back on track", then this is for YOU also. That is where I was, and just finished reading it. If that is where you find yourself, please, pick up this book, pray for the presence of the Holy Spirit, and read it. You will be blessed
Such an amazing book, teaching us about the love our Savior and Friend Jesus Christ has for us. Just as we long for a Savior, a friend, and healing, so does our God long to have us draw nearer to Him.
Everyone... please.. if you are reading this it will help open your eyes to the Truth. Thing ive heard and read didnt make any sense, but truly this book has revealed The Love of Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. Read this book have your Bible ready, and brace your self for a huge Dose of Truth. This is a book you will read more than once. Gob Bless you in your searching, Ask and it shall be given,seek and you will find, knock and the door will be opened to you. Ask in faith ask without doubt and He will reveal Himself to you.

STEPS -- how many does it take to complete a lifetime? Or to achieve unity with Jesus? One, of course, the first one. As this book points out, "Jesus Christ is the only one who is able to meet the needs of the soul." He has taken the giant step to save us. Now we live in Him, and we take steps to draw closer to Him. This book "reveals...the secret of victory as it unfolds in simplicity the saving grace and the keeping power of the great Friend of all mankind."
I married the great-great granddaughter of the author of this book. And I've become friends with dozens of the descendants of the author, many of whom have incorporated these "Steps to Christ" in their lives. I can tell you that these steps change people to be more Christlike, loving and devoted Christians. Reading and re-reading this book, I too am drawn closer to my Savior and Friend. Over more than a century now, thousands like me have testified to the same uplifting power in the message of this book.
First, we learn of God's unbridled love for humanity and our individual need as sinners for Christ. That comes through repentance, confession, consecration, faith and acceptance. But then we grow in Christ through discipleship and deepening our love of God and His Word. Prayer--it becomes a privilege for us. What about doubt, though? You'll discover how that's part of the steps to Christ.
As a poet, I've found the writing in this book to be rhythmic and filled with stirring images. Here's just one example "As the flower turns to the sun, that the bright beams may aid in perfecting its beauty and symmetry, so should we turn to the Sun of Righteousness, that heaven's light may shine upon us, that our character may be developed into the likeness of Christ."
